CONTROLLED FORCE PROCEDURE
A Modern Chiropractic Method

 What is controlled force chiropractic?

Controlled force spinal adjusting employs a specific method whereby only as much energy as is needed is used to facilitate a body response. This is achieved with an FDA approved instrument called the Arthrostim™. This device, along with several other instruments, achieves remarkably gentle and rapid healing that can be faithfully reproduced.

How does controlled force adjusting differ from traditional manual chiropractic techniques?

Controlled force adjusting employs a set amount of force and concentrates on three key tissue types: osseous (articular), muscle, and ligament. By addressing all three components at each visit, a maximum correction is facilitated. This approach provides pinpoint accuracy whereby only the vertebrae and related tissues involved are corrected.

Who is a candidate for controlled force adjusting?

Because the amount of force is mechanically measured and applied, it is appropriate and comfortable for all qualified patients.  It is ideally suited for post surgical cases, osteoporotic patients, disc disorders, acute injury and vehicular cases. Kids also love it!

Is controlled force adjusting complemented by other types of treatment?

Yes!  Physical therapy, pain management, exercise rehabilitation and other forms of conventional treatment work nicely in conjunction with our technique.
